MTC Announces New Vice President

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Marjorie Brown as new vice president of corrections region IV.

Ms. Brown joined MTC in 2006 as a state administrator to oversee MTC Medical’s Tennessee Department of Correction health services contract. She most recently served as senior director of MTC’s medical services. Ms. Brown has an MBA, and has worked in corrections for the past 34 years; eight years as deputy director of a major correctional system. She has also been a regional director, warden, assistant warden, and juvenile facility administrator.

Ms. Brown will oversee MTC’s Corrections region IV which includes four facilities in Mississippi and one in Florida.

MTC is the largest operator of the federal Job Corps program. The company operates or partners in operating 21 centers including the Clearfield Job Corps Center in Utah. MTC is also the third largest private operator of correctional facilities with 24 facilities in eight states. MTC’s philosophy is rehabilitation through education, and has been changing lives for more than 30 years.
